Señora Porterfield ¡Hola! My name is Caitlin Porterfield, and I teach Spanish 1 this year at Groveport Madison High School. I have been teaching for 7 years and I love what I do!
I attended Groveport schools and I'm a proud GMHS Class of 2007 graduate and valedictorian. I met my husband, Nick, in Chemistry class our junior year! I graduated from Capital University, where I majored in Spanish and minored in International Studies and Political Science. I earned my Master of Education from THE Ohio State University in Foreign Language Education with a focus in Urban Education in 2012. Go Bucks! I was lucky enough to spend time in Barcelona, Spain in 2010 where I practiced my Spanish and enjoyed the culture. I look forward to traveling to other Spanish-speaking countries in the future! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cross stitching, watching TV with my hubby, and playing with our daughter Amelia and our dog Zoey. I'm so looking forward to our time together this year! |
